It’s been a busy week for Rihanna. Not only has she been named sexiest women alive by Esquire Magazine (Is there a sexiest women not alive award?). She also released the cover art for her new album, “Talk that Talk”. It’s hitting stores November 21st, just in time for the Christmas season. If any friends or family are reading this post, this album would be the perfect gift, supposing you couldn’t get me Rihanna herself.

Rihanna looks beautiful on the cover of Esquire Magazine, being named the Sexiest Woman Alive! Check out the interview where she talks about everything from her tour, drinking before the show and Chris Brown…

ESQ: It was a pretty fascinating scene. Bodyguards, dancers, dozens of people who looked liked they had nothing to do. I saw Jay-Z duck into your dressing room.

RIHANNA: I was walking out as he walked in. He was like, “Yo!” I had my tea in one hand and my drink in the next.

ESQ: You drink them at the same time?

RIHANNA: One is tea and one is a shot. I usually like dark liquor — brandy or whiskey — but it’s very high in sugar-content and I have some photo shoots coming up, so I had to switch it up to vodka.

ESQ: Do you live on your bus during a tour?

RIHANNA:
I hate going to hotels when I’m on tour. I like to stay on the bus. I can sleep, I can shower, I can just pull up right to the venue everyday. I work out. I have a trainer. So, she trains me wherever, whenever. Touring messes with my metabolism, so I have to get tight.

ESQ: What do you eat on tour?

RIHANNA: I’m very stubborn when it comes to food. I don’t like to try new things. When I came to America, there were so many different cultures and tastes. I haven’t acquired a taste for a lot of things. Like, calamari? Jay-Z had to make me eat it. We have this thing called Taste Test Tuesdays or New Flavor Fridays or Substitute Saturdays.

ESQ: What happens in your dressing room before a show?

RIHANNA: I eat lozenges, steam my voice, do my makeup. I Skype my vocal coach and we sit there at the makeup table and do warm-ups for about a half-hour. Then, Jen, my personal assistant slash bartender, brings me a shot that she dilutes with a little something so it’s not so harsh, like orange juice or soda water and lime.

ESQ: Why do you have the shot?

RIHANNA: I have to have it. I take it very seriously, so there is a level of anxiety, always. I overthink everything when it comes to my job. The drink calms my nerves. I sip it while I watch the opening act from my dressing room. Sometimes I go out into the audience. I put on a really big hoodie and sneak out there.

Emergency officials responded to a call about a possible prescription pill overdose when they were dispatched to Terrell Owens’ LA apartment. T.O. was transported by ambulance to an L.A. hospital and cops spoke with him at the hospital.

Owens has been released and a rep has not yet commented on the incident.

Back in 2006 T.O. was hospitalized for inhaling 35 Vicodins, and although he insisted he just had a “bad reaction” many believed it was a suicide attempt.

We just hope he gets the help he needs, or learns how to take prescription pills properly.

Drake has been forced to scrap plans to release his new album on his birthday due to ongoing legal wrangling over samples.

The hip-hop star had wanted his latest record, Take Care, to hit shelves on October 24, the day he turns 25, but the release has been pushed back until November as he awaits clearance on samples used on several of the tracks.

He says in a statement, “I have completed 19 songs (17 on physical and 2 on bonus), and have run into a roadblock of clearing three samples in time to make the October 24th date… My options were to take the songs off and make the birthday release happen, or to take an extra couple (of) weeks to get the paper work right and give you the album they way I need you to hear it.

“The choice was clear as day for me. November 15th you will get Take Care the exact way I created it with no trimmings… I do apologise for the delay but I promise that it is only for the benefit of our experience together.”

I had these grand plans for a blog update!  And with the dive bombing of my phone into the toilet, those plans have gone down the drain.

I put off blogging because I was trying to get pictures of what I wanted to blog about.  But the photos were on my phone which is now deceased!  Well, for the most part.  Since the screen is fried, there’s not a real reliable way to get those photos.

So, I’ll go back and do it the old fashioned way.  I’ll take the photos this weekend and post them next week and hopefully have a new, working phone, by next Monday.

What I wanted to show you is what awesome husband man Geoff got us over the weekend for our wedding anniversary.  And how our cat, Sey,has claimed it for herself.  It has become her throne to plot her nefarious deeds.  (Sounds intimidating right?)

With thanks to a few of our friends and our family, Geoff brought home a piano.  Both of us grew up playing and while it’s been about 10 years for me to sit down and just play, this has been the best gift ever!  However, like I said, Sey has kind of claimed it as her own.  Which is really kind of cute seeing her up there all the time.  I wanted to share the photos with you.  As I’ve shared on air, with the death of my phone, life has honestly been turned upside down.

I’m kind of mortified how much I rely on technology like my phone these days.  Rather, it’s amazing how much we can pack into those devices these days and how much of what I grew up with, like actual alarm clocks or cameras (which I do have, just rarely use anymore since the phone is more readily available), is packed into a pocket sized wonder device.

I NEED MY PHONE!  WAGH!  /sniff

“I apologise from the bottom of my heart, sincerely i do. i know its not only disappointing because of the show, but its plane tickets, hotel bookings, birthdays, anniversaries and time wasted. but please have faith in me that this is the only thing i can do to make sure i can always sing and always make music for you to the best of my ability. truly yours and yours only forever, adele xx”

Kanye West, an artist who knows how to generate buzz, was hoping some positive energy would surround his first women’s wear collection, unveiled to a host of A-list guests over the weekend during Paris Fashion Week.

Bold-facers like Anna Wintour, Lindsay Lohan, Ciara, Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen and nearly every major fashion critic imaginable were all seated in the front row to get a first glimpse at DW by Kanye West.

Despite all the glamourous attention, some were less than impressed with Wests’s looks.

Cathy Horyn of the New York Times tweeted: “Next season Kanye should get a tailor so clothes might fit. Models swimming in some looks. Kills the hot look, no?”

Jessica Michault of the International Herald Tribune sent this Twitter missive: “The Kanye West show, in my humble opinion, is proof that everyone can love fashion but not everyone can be a fashion designer.”

Women’s Wear Daily and Style.com were a little less severe, chalking up West’s missteps to beginner’s folly.

What do you think?

Chris Brown took it to the next level with a fan last week when he licked and kissed her knees on stage.

During his concert in Detroit, Breezy welcomed a female fan up on stage for one of his songs. He danced around her seductively and took off his shirt before then engaging in some mouth-to-knee action. Check out the video:

What you think? Hot or Not??
