Here is what he had to say about hsi new album!!

“Getting to this point and finally getting an album out — I know I speak on behalf of all my fans — it’s been a very long wait and I feel like everybody’s finally ready for it.  Even though I’ve had a lot of music in the past, I feel like now it’s timing, because timing plays a huge role in the success of things — especially me, and getting here really took a lot of online presence, a lot of performing. It took a lot of shows…”I think now people know what they should expect, and even still, playing the album for people they’re still like, ‘Wow, I didn’t know it was going to be that.’ I think the fans know to expect decent music. I don’t think anybody’s expectations will be low for it, but I feel like it will definitely have some surprising factors to it.”

“Basically, the concept of the album cover is, I’m gonna give enough but I’m gonna leave it open for interpretation,” B.o.B. explained promising to not take away from consumers’ imaginations. “Of course I incorporated the four elements, earth, wind, fire and water, and it’s an adventure. So I’m basicallytraveling through these elements during my adventure but even though, the elements are dangerous in themselves, but I still use it to my advantage, going through these elements. [The album] is done, finished. I’m done, it’s like my homework’s done…Lupe [Fiasco] is on it, T.I. is on it, I got a lot of outside production on it.”

The album The Adventures of Bobby Ray is out in stores now so GO GET IT!

Trey Songz Flirts, Cries, Covers Kings of Leon On ‘MTV Unplugged…

Trey Songz was fun, flirty and fearless during his “MTV Unplugged” performance, which premieres TONIGHT (April 26) on MTV.com. The Grammy-nominated singer recorded the material earlier this month, at Manhattan’s NEP Studio 33, before an intimate audience of (surprise!) mostly women.

“Shout-out to the guys with their girls,” a cheeky Trey said, before chuckling as he pointed at a man in the crowd: “He like, ‘Yeah, what up.’ “

Catch some of the performace…

Hip-Hop group The St. Lunatics recently shot a video in their hometown of St. Louis, as they prepare to release their first batch of material in over 10 years.

The group features Nelly, Murphy Lee, Kyjuan, Ali and Nelly’s brother City Spud, who spent 10 years incarcerated for assault, before being released in late 2008.

City Spud was featured on Nelly’s hit single “Ride Wit Me.”

He was sent to jail in 1999, just as his brother’s debut album Country Grammar raced to the top of the charts, eventually selling over 10 million copies.

“Of course, everybody knows that I’ve been on vacation for a while and now I’m back,” City Spud told the St. Louis American.

Earlier this week, the crew assembled at Visiontracks Studio in Fenton, Missouri, to shoot “Money Talks,“ the first video from their upcoming album.

“He wasn’t able to be a part of Country Grammar or any other Lunatic album that had been done up to this point,” Nelly told KMOV-TV. “It’s exciting for us to watch him because this is his first time really going through the whole process of putting out an album and everything that comes along with it.”

“Money Talks” features Bryan “Birdman” Williams, CEO of the popular rap imprint Cash Money Records, which has artists like Lil Wayne, Drake, Nicki Minaj, Jay Sean and others on the roster.

The video, which was filmed by director Juwan Lee, will promote the St. Lunatics’ upcoming album, which is titled City Free.

No release date was available for City Free.

Rapper B.o.B.’s single “Nothing On You” has knocked Rihanna out of the  #1 on Billboard’s Hot 100 chart. “Nothing on You,” which features singer Bruno Mars, hit #1 after 12 weeks on the charts, knocking Rihanna’s “Rude Boy” from the top slot. B.o.B.‘s newest single “The Kids” recently hit the internet and features Janelle Monae. The track is taken from B.o.B.’s upcoming debut release The Adventures Of Bobby Ray, which is due in stores April 27th.

Producer 9th Wonder is working on the sequel to his critically acclaimed album, 9th Invented the Remix. According to sources, 9th is in the studio recording 9th Invented the Remix, Again. The new album features all original-production by 9th Wonder and is the first follow-up since the original album hit the stores in 2003. In related news, 9th Wonder is staying busy, as the lead producer for the NBA Live 11 Soundtrack. Additionally, 9th recently released ForNever, his fourth collaboration with Murs.

Kid Cudi has scrapped the title of his sophomore CD, which was reportedly titled Cudder: The Revolution of Evolution. Additionally, the rapper has changed the collaborative direction the album was originally taking, for a more personal darker themed LP. The new name Kid Cudi’s second album is Man On The Moon II: The Legend of Mr. Rager. “It will explain more of who I am as well as pushing the envelope musically,” Kid Cudi said of the album, which is slated for an August release date.

Harlem, New York rapper Jim Jones will begin teaching a 6-week high school course to educate students on the inner-working of the music business.

Jones was cleared by the Board of Education in New York to teach the class, and he will begin teaching Music Business 101 on Tuesday (April 27th) in New York.

The course is being presented by Entertainers 4 Education (E4EA), a 501(C)(3) non-profit organization founded in 2005 by entertainment executive, Tonya Lewis and educator J.P. Taylor.

The rapper is on the board of the non-profit organization, which educates students on the importance of education and self development.

After Jones finishes teaching the high school students on Monday, he will head over to Fordham University, to speak to college-level students about the music industry.

At both events, Jones will specifically teach the kids about artist management, creative control over content, intellectual property, production, distribution, music operations and music business “threats.”

“Jim has been a longstanding E4EA board member,” said Tonya Lewis, Co-Founder and Executive Director of Entertainers 4 Education Alliance Inc.  “He is a true hip hop talent who will teach and inspire kids about the many aspects of the music industry.  We know he will have a positive impact on the kids.”

Jones’ Music Business 101 is a six-week course that starts April 27th and will be taught every subsequent Tuesday for the next six weeks.

Other members of E4EA’s board include MTV personality Sway Calloway, NBA legend John Starks, R&B singer/rapper Tyrese Gibson and others.

The principal of Woodland Middle School in Henry County, New Jersey, has come under fire over rapper T.I.‘s recent appearance.

T.I., born Clifford Harris Jr., appeared at the school on March 5th and spoke to students.

Parents of some students took issue with the fact that they were not notified of who would be speaking to their children.

T.I., who was recently released from a halfway house to house arrest with a curfew, served a year in prison for attempting to purchase multiple machine guns with silencers.

As part of his probation, the rapper was sentenced to 1,500 hours of community service, 1,000 of which were completed prior to his prison sentence.

He flew around the country visiting middle schools, recreational centers and various Boys & Girls Clubs, where he encouraged teens to stay away from drugs, violence and gangs.

Tom Myers, who has four children in the school, was one of several parents who complained about T.I.’s appearance in a letter to principal Dr. Terry Oaks.

“In the future, if T.I. or any other convicted felon needs to perform community service, ask for parental permission to allow our children to be exposed to these questionable individuals,” wrote Tom Myers, who has four daughters in the school.

According to Atlanta’s Channel 2 Action News, Dr. Oates sent a series of questionable replies in defense of the rapper that upset parents.

“I thought about asking a guy who snorted cocaine and got arrested for DUI when he was 30 to come and speak to our kids, but President George W. Bush was not available,” Dr. Oates allegedly replied.

In another letter, Dr. Oates again defended T.I.’s appearance and noted that the rapper had never been convicted of “homicide.”

“Mr. Harris has never been convicted of homicide. We would not be able to adequately staff our states general assembly, our U.S. Congress or the executive branch of our government using your apparent standards,” Dr. Oates allegedly wrote in an email.

School officials are investigating the emails sent by Dr. Oates. They are also looking into their speaker’s policy, which does not require administrators contact parents when a guest comes to the school to speak.

Sean “Diddy” Combs has issued an apology for making disparaging  statements about rival vodka’s that set off the “vodka wars” earlier this month between Combs’ Ciroc brand and a number of other spirit makers.

Combs released the statement via YouTube, which features the entertainment mogul soaking in a bubble bath surrounded by Ciroc bottles, while taunting his competition with the “apology.”

“Ladies and gentlemen, I come to you today as a man. I feel like only a true man steps up to the plate and people may not agree with his position. And that man says ‘I’m sorry,’ I’m sorry to all I may have offended. We’re sorry for being the best. I am sorry that just that just this weekend, we got awarded the prestigious Double Gold Medal from the San Francisco World Spirits Award for the best ultra premium vodka. This is a fact, you can Google it. I am sorry I came out with these flavors that taste so good.”

The words will surely aggravate liquor tycoon M.J. Silver, who declared a “vodka war” on Combs’ Ciroc, after Combs was quoted as saying “if you’re not drinking Ciroc vodka, then you’re drinking pee pee.”

Last month Silver, who owns Georgi Argent and members of his staff attempted to deliver a toilet full of Ciroc vodka to Combs’ Manhattan offices, but was rejected by the mogul’s burley security guards.

“I am sorry that the competitions sales are down and we are up,” said Combs as he held a champagne glass of Ciroc in the tub. “There’s nothing I can do about that. I am sorry that I am coming to you live from my bubble bath. I’m not really sorry. It tastes good.”

Combs is putting the finishing touches on his upcoming album Last Train to Paris, which is due in stores June 22nd.

Dr. Dre’s biological son Curtis Young hopes to follow in the footsteps of his father, with the launch of his new record label, Young Entertainment Inc.

Like his famous father, Curtis Young, formerly known as Hood Surgeon, also hails from Compton, California.

His debut solo album, titled Product of My DNA, will be released this summer on his Young Ent. Label.

“My world became complete when I finally met my father at the age of 21,” Curtis Young told AllHipHop.com. “I am extremely grateful for my father paving the road for me and many other artists. I feel privileged to have the opportunity to take over a legacy. As a producer, my father has set extremely high standards to existing and upcoming producers all over the globe but my hard and dedicated work will show everyone that I deserve the name Young.”

Young has been active on the West coast mixtape scene with several releases over the past year.

Mixtapes like Family Tree Vol. 1 and Vol. 2, Son of A Doctor and Billionaire Dreams have helped Curtis Young gain a local following.

According to Young, he has reshaped his image and his sound represents a “new era of positive feel good music for the West Coast.”

“People can expect a new trendy look from me…I am a new generation of Left Coast artists who can not only rap but produce as well. In the future, my company Young Entertainment Inc, will set high standards and create another element for the Hip-Hop world so get familiar.”

As for Product of My DNA, the album has no release date, but is due in stores sometime this Summer.

The album will reveal intimate details about his relationship with his father Dr. Dre and how the two met for the first time.

“For my debut album, you can expect to learn about the making of Curtis Young,” Young promised. “The story of actually becoming a product of society. People can expect to hear the true meaning of ‘Product Of My DNA’ that will let people know who Curtis Young is and how I learned about my father, Dr. Dre.”

The wait for Outkast rapper Big Boi’s solo debut album Sir Lucious Leftfoot: The Son of Chico Dusty, as well as a new album from the Atlanta-based duo is coming to end.

The 14-track Def Jam Recordings offering, which features appearances from T.I., Sleepy Brown and Jamie Foxx, will hit stores on July 6.

Producers for the album include Scott Storch, Boi-1da, Organized Noize, Andre 3000 and Lil Jon, among others.

The release of Sir Lucious comes amid a string of delays that raised doubts about the project.

Despite the release of four singles (the 3000 and Raekwon-assisted “Royal Flush,” “Sumthin’s Gotta Give featuring Mary J. Blige, “Ringtone” and “Dubbz”) and leaked collaborations with 3000 and Brown (“Looking for You”), George Clinton and Too Short (“Fo Yo Sorrows”), Gucci Mane (“Shine Blockas”) and T.I. (“Tambourine”), Sir Lucious was never made available to the public.

Shortly after the album summer release, Big Boi will appear at the Pitchfork Music Festival. The event, will take place during the July 16-18 weekend in Union Park in Chicago.

In addition to Sir Lucious, plans to unleash the follow-up to Outkast ’s 2006 opus, the soundtrack to the film Idlewid, will resume. Big Boi confirmed to Billboard.com that the long-awaited album will be released after Sir Lucious.

VH1’s “VH1 Hip Hop Honors” will return for a seventh time this June with a tribute to Southern Hip-Hop music.

Rappers Jermaine Dupri, J. Prince of Rap-A-Lot Records, 2Live Crew and Luther “Luke” Campbell will be honored during the ceremonies, which will tape June 3rd.

All three men have established ground breaking Hip-Hop labels, which have sold tens of millions of records over the years.

Jermaine Dupri founded Atlanta’s So So Def imprint in 1993, J-Prince launched Rap-A-Lot in 1986 and Luke Campbell started Luke Skyywalker Records in 1985.

Both J Prince and Campbell helped break down the barriers of censorship in Hip-Hop music during the late 1980’s and early 1990’s.

Campbell’s case involving his usage of Roy Orbison’s “Pretty Woman” went all the way to the Supreme Court, where the rapper won a victory, when a judge ruled a parody of a record can qualify as “fair use.”

“I am happy for my fans, they have sent the people that run the VH1 Hip Hop Honors show emails for years now, asking why a person that started his own record label and went to the Supreme Court can’t get honored, so I am happy for them,” Campbell told AllHipHop.com in an exclusive statement.

Others being recognized for their contributions to Hip-Hop during the evening include Master P. who founded the groundbreaking No Limit Records imprint, as well as Atlanta production team Organized Noise.

While Luke was happy about being honored, the outspoken rapper was a bit upset that his recognition comes so late into the annual VH1 Hip Hop Honors franchise.

“We are the outcasts on that day, the outcasts will get their five minutes. I am sure the show will be about the others,” Campbell told AllHipHop.com. “My fans are the only reason I am doing this. I said f**k this after they did Too Short before me.”

VH1’s Hip Hop Honors airs June 7th at 9:00 PM ET.

Jen’s creepy ex hubby Ojani Noa is filing for bankruptcy, and when he does, literally hours upon hours of “racy” home videos featuring the singer-slash-actress will be up for public auction!!!!

Sources say Noa can “force the federal bankruptcy trustee to sell his share of the Jennifer Lopez ‘racy’ home videos, plus hundreds and hundreds of unseen and ‘racy’ candid still photos of JLo, and Ojani’s tell-all book manuscript about JLo at a public bankruptcy auction, to the highest bidder.”

Apparently because the vids and photos will be up for public auction, it’ll push Lopez’ lawsuit from the California Court of Appeal and “up to the Federal Bankruptcy Court, where the case will be fast tracked, and Ojani can force Jennifer Lopez onto the witness stand in open court within 60 days.”

Last weekend, Heather Locklear was arrested for plowing into a “no parking” sign in Westlake, CA and then running for her freedom. As she is still on probation from a previous reckless driving misdemeanor charge from 2008, if she is found guilty of the mowing over the sign, she can get up to 90 days in jail for breaking her probation!

Yikes!

But first, they have to conclude beyond a shadow of a doubt that it was her who did it. Then, if they do, she gets to sit in the slammer for three months.

Here’s hoping you had the sense to keep your car on the road, Heather! (We doubt that you did!)

Tonight, Larry King better tune in to Entertainment Tonight if wants to know all the deets about his wife’s affair with their son’s baseball coach.

Hector Penate will give a tell-all interview tonight, discussing the affair he had with Shawn Southwick. He claims that not only did Larry know he was getting busy with his wife, but their two young sons knew as well!

Because every growing boy should know how big of a slut his mother his!

But Hector Penetration goes one step further and claims that back when they were together, Shawn knew that Larry was having an affair with Larry’s sister!

Elin Nordegren took off to Sweden with the kids on Monday to spend time with family and friends and make some serious decisions about her marriage to Tiger Woods.

As for Tiger, he went out on Monday night with friends in Orlando. With Elin’s latest trip to Sweden, they’ve only spent three nights in the same city this past month.

No divorce papers have been filed, but we think it’s definitely on the horizon.

It’s obvious she doesn’t want to spend any time with him, which friends have confirmed, and we think she should just get out already!

Nadya Suleman AKA The Octomom appeared on Oprah yesterday to clear the air about her decision to have 8 more children as the single unemployed mother of six! Here are some HIGHlights:

On how being an only child contributed to her decision to have so many kids:

“I feel as though I was so caught up with my own childish desires to compensate. I’ve always coveted that connection, that attachment to another being. And the connection felt safer with children than with a significant other, more predictable. The security—I was hungering for the security.”

On feeling any regret:

“We’re surviving. We’re so busy going, going, going, moving, moving, moving, trying to keep up that you don’t have time to think, to reflect, to feel anything. And it is a choice. I own all of the responsibility for my poor choices in the past. Do I regret [it]? You can’t regret children. But the choices were childish. They were immature. They were selfish. Are we defined by our choices? Our behavior? Our actions? No. I don’t believe that defines our worth.

“I feel as though I wasn’t thinking at that time. If I could go back, would I make different choices? Maybe. At this point, I know and I need to teach my children that we need to learn, we need to grow, we need to keep on growing and transcending, and we need to make the best possible choices. And when we make poor choices, all you can do is really, really learn from that and grow from that. Try not to repeat it.”

On having more children:

“At this point in my life, that is the furthest thing that I would ever even imagine. I cannot grow additional eyes or hands. I’m not an octopus. I can barely give them — nobody could, not two people, not four people even could give them — all the emotional, psychological and physical needs.”

On her guilt:

I live every single day every hour of the day with a tremendous amount of guilt. And I feel guilty when I hold the one or two and then that I can’t be there for the others. And they’re crying. And then I feel guilty. Look at the older ones. They all have different unique needs. And I’ll live with this forever. But all I can do now is keep on going, keep moving.”

On providing for her kids:

“I will do anything in my power to secure what I need to, on my own, without exploiting my children, to secure revenue so I can provide that. I know that sounds selfish, but I breathe for my children. I wake up for my children. I will do anything to secure the revenue on my own to provide for these kids.”

Best of luck, lady!

But we think you have one difficult life ahead of you along with all 14 of your children!

Reports say Rihanna was rushed to the hospital on Monday night after her performance in Switzerland!

RiRi was rushed to the Hirslanden hospital around midnight for an “unknown condition”, but was on her way back to the venue by 3 am.

Reps for the hospital have confirmed that Rihanna was at their emergency room Monday night but “do not know the details.”
